[WATCH]- Jofra Archer Bowls Mitchell Marsh With An Unplayable Delivery In The 4th ODI

England’s fast bowler Jofra Archer stunned Australian captain Mitchell Marsh during the fourth ODI at Lord’s with an exceptional delivery. The right-arm bowler’s ball knocked over the off-stump as the all-rounder missed it entirely, leaving him visibly shocked.

The wicket fell in the second half of the innings as Harry Brook decided to introduce a new bowler, Archer. The Barbadian kept the pace up as the West Australian played the correct line. However, the ball went cryptically across the outside edge to dislodge the off-stump and the right-hander had to return back for 28 off 34 balls.

In a difficult chase of 313 in a 39 overs rain God intervened match, the captain along with Travis Head helped Australia race to a flier. However, the home team would soon come back sending the deadly Travis Head and Steven Smith to the bench.

Mitchell Marsh takes a wicket in his bowling comeback, but England secures a convincing victory

In the meantime, while fitness issues made him give up bowling, Marsh made a comeback to the crease. He achieved the wicket of Will Jacks subsequently and ended with bowling figures of 4-0-27-1. Nonetheless, at first, the Englishmen played cautiously but quickly became aggressive.

At one end, Ben Duckett scored a fifty, while on another end, Harry Brook was in no mood to hold himself back and made a quick-fire 87 off 58 deliveries. However, it was the ‘finishers’ who put the final power as Liam Livingstone smashed Mitchell Starc for 28 runs, 4 of which were sixes along with 1 four. He remained not out at 62 runs which off 27 balls while England made an impossible total.

While batting, Australia came out all guns blazing and folded for 126 and succumbed to a 186 run defeat as the hosts leveled the five-match series 2-2. The fifth ODI is scheduled to be held on the 29th of September at County Ground, Bristol, with England having all the advantages after reducing the deficit from 0-2 down to 2-2.
