After two eventful days, the third day of ongoing India vs South Africa Test started with a bang when Marco Jansen removed the veteran batsman Cheteshwar Pujara on the very second ball of the innings.
However, more than the delivery, it was the catch taken by Keegan Petersen that took the limelight. Pujara got an extra bounce around the hips and hit Pujara’s hand. While this usually gets past the wicketkeeper but Petersen had some other idea.
He jumped towards his right and grabbed it single-handedly. And, this left everyone in shock too as Cheteshwar Pujara got out for 9 off 33 as well.

On the other hand, Marco Jansen has been in the news ever since he got involved in an argument with India pacer Jasprit Bumrah. While it once again made headlines after Bumrah bowled him for 7 in the ongoing Test, Bumrah said that he has āendedā in Johannesburg and they have āmoved on in lifeā.
At the post-match press conference, Bumrah opined on this incident. He replied:
āI donāt remember having any conversation with him even once (in this match). Whatever happened in the last game, it ended there and we have moved forward in life. In this game, I donāt remember having a discussion or even eye contact with him. But yeah we are focussing on what our team has to do, the opposition can do whatever they want to do. We are trying to follow our processes and our contributions to get the team to a good position.ā
āNothing out of the ordinary. I was just focussing on what I had to do, my routines and my processesā¦ or whatever has to be done when I prepare for a Test match. Nothing out of the ordinary, I was not giving any extra attention on I was not really too angry. I was just focussing on what I had to do and trying to be in the present,ā Jasprit Bumrah again shared.
