Kieron Pollard versus Dwayne Bravo is a battle that every cricket fan looks forward to during the IPL. The two Caribbean superstars are facing each other in the ongoing IPL 2022 clash between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at DY Patil Stadium. Both the teams are desperately looking for a win in this El Clasico of IPL.

Caribbean players are always famous for lighting up the game with their actions. They try to make games interesting and entertaining to watch even in dull situations. A similar incident took place when Kieron Pollard who recently announced his retirement from international cricket faced his first ball from Dwayne Bravo today.

Kieron Pollard defended the ball from Bravo which went straight towards him. Bravo after collecting the ball in follow-through, threw the ball above the head of Pollard and Pollard in reply gave him a kiss on his head with a hug. This moment entertained a lot of people and spiced up things in a match that looked dull at that time.

Tilak Verma guides Mumbai Indians to a respectable total of 155

Earlier in the day, Chennai Super Kings captain Ravindra Jadeja won the toss and decided to field. And CSK bowlers took full benefit of the early dampness in the pitch. Mukesh Choudhary dismissed Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan for a duck in the first over of the match which put Mumbai Indians completely on the back foot.

Dewald Brevis also couldn’t stay for long and got dismissed by Mukesh Choudhary. Suryakumar Yadav played a cameo of 32 runs before he got out to Mitchell Santner. In such a critical situation, Tilak Varma anchored the innings till the end. With the help of Jaydev Unadkat in death overs, Varma took Mumbai Indians to a respectable total of 155.
