In the continued 3rd Test between England and West Indies at Edgbaston in Birmingham on July 26, Mark Wood showcased his bowling prowess by way of dismantling Kirk McKenzie’s middle stump, marking a critical step forward simply earlier than Lunch.

Wood’s shipping, clocking at an excellent 146 kmph, swung returned sharply to dislodge McKenzie’s middle stump from the floor, leaving the batsman flummoxed and adding to his struggles within the series towards England. England leads the three-match Test series 2-0, having clinched convincing victories in the first two Tests. They secured an innings win in the series opener at Lord’s, bidding farewell to James Anderson in style, followed by a 241-run triumph in the second Test at Trent Bridge, despite initially trailing West Indies in the first innings.

With West Indies now aiming for a comfortable victory in the series, Brathwaite and his team continue to be determined to capitalize on their captain’s form and flip the tide in their team’s favour in the ongoing Test match at Edgbaston.
