Australia’s star pacer Mitchell Starc gave his team a perfect start on Day 3 of the third Test against India at the Gabba in Brisbane on Monday, December 18. The left-arm bowler removed Yashasvi Jaiswal on the second ball of India’s first innings, following a boundary off the first ball.
Starc delivered a pitched-up ball on middle, and Jaiswal attempted a flick shot but hit it straight to Mitchell Marsh at short mid-wicket. After the dismissal, Starc stuck out his tongue, mocking Jaiswal for sledging him in the first Test. This marked the third time Starc has dismissed the Indian opener across all three Tests.
