The veteran pace bowler Mohammed Aamir showed his anger at his teammate during the Pakistan Super League match played on 6th March 2023 between Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators at Rawalpindi Stadium, Islamabad.
Quetta Gladiators captain Sarfaraz Ahmed won the toss and decided to field first. It was a decent batting effort by the Karachi Kings batting lineup as Adam Rossington made 69 off 45 deliveries with 10 fours and 1 six. Kings captain Imad Wasim continued his brilliant form with an unbeaten 30 along with Aamer Yamin’s quickfire knock helped Karachi Kings post 164 for 6.
Mohammed Aamir produced an upper edge to Gladiators captain Sarfaraz Ahmed in the 19th over with 11 runs required from 8 deliveries. Tayab Tahir was a little late to react as he ran towards the position eventually falling short of the catch. Aamir lost his temper and screamed at Tahir while walking back to his run-up.

Mohammed Aamir was taken to the cleaners in Karachi King’s opening match against Peshawar Zalmi giving away 42 runs in his 4 overs. He threw the ball toward Babar Azam in frustration.
It was a close-fought affair as Quetta won the match with 1 ball to spare. Martin Guptill was the top scorer with 86 not out helping the Gladiators register their 2nd win of the PSL 2023. With this loss, Karachi Kings was knocked out of this year’s edition with only 2 wins out of 9 matches they have played so far.
Karachi King’s performance lacked the finishing touches as they lost matches from winning matches as Imad Wasim performed brilliantly with the bat.
A decent performance from Mohammed Aamir in PSL 2023
Aamir performed decently enough in the ongoing season of the Pakistan Super League. He took a total of 9 wickets from 6 matches with best figures of 4 for 26 at an economy rate of 7.86 runs per. After picking 4 wickets, Aamir cut a cake.
Karachi Kings looked a disappointing side during the ongoing PSL season. Out of the 9 matches they played, Imad Wasim led side won only 2 encounters. Last season also, Karachi Kings finished last under the captaincy of Babar Azam.
