Ex-India captain MS Dhoni and his partner Sakshi highlighted their 15th wedding anniversary on Thursday, July 4, by sharing a cake-cutting anniversary together. The duo first connected when Sakshi was training as an intern at a hotel. Following their relationship for many years, they tied the knot in 2010 in Dehradun. Their little daughter, Ziva, was born on February 6, 2015.

Sakshi, who is seven years younger than Dhoni, also posted nostalgic photos to commemorate their journey. She captioned her Instagram post:

In the biographical movie of MS Dhoni, Kiara Advani played the role of Sakshi. The sports drama became a massive hit at the box office whereas Sushant Singh Rajput played Dhoni.
Privately, Dhoni and Sakshi reside in a farmhouse in Ranchi, Jharkhand, where the legendary wicketkeeper spends most of his time except during the Indian Premier League (IPL) seasons. Sakshi frequently offers glimpses of Dhoni on her social media profiles.

In an earlier interview, MS Dhoni expressed his appreciation to his wife Sakshi for her care of his family. The 42-year-old mentioned at an event hosted by Rigi App in 2023 (via Business Today):
“They are the pillar of strength in the family. Whether it is my wife or if I see my mom, they are the ones who run the family.”
“She has a budget and she has to run the full 30 days or whatever. They are excellent at it. I feel that they are the ones who bring comfort into our family…you always fall back on them. You can ask them anything,” Dhoni added.
Expertly, Dhoni joined in his final T20 match for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) all through their last league game in opposition of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in IPL 2024. The experienced player will enjoy his 43rd birthday on Sunday, July 7.
