However, they are in leading position with one day to go for what would be a memorable maiden Test victory over these Asian opponents. The last day might work well for Bangladesh spinners on a Rawalpindi track which has remained flat for most parts of the game.

In a press conference, spin-bowling all-rounder Mehidy Hasan spoke about how early strikes could be important for Bangladesh at the end of Day 4.’

“If our bowlers perform well in the first hour tomorrow, we’ll be in a good position. We’re not thinking too far ahead. We’ll have a great chance if we can take early wickets tomorrow.”

”If we get a few wickets in the first session, we have a shot at winning. We got a good lead, and now we need to bowl in the right areas and pick up early wickets. The bowlers did well in the last hour,” Mehidy said (via Cricbuzz).

At 16 for 3, Bangladesh encountered some difficulty with Pakistan in the first innings, however, centuries from Saud Shakeel and Mohammad Rizwan helped them regain their position of power.

The final day has begun; however, Pakistan is still struggling at one down after eleven overs scoring twenty-four runs while having to chase ninety-three more runs in order to compel Bangladesh into their second batting innings.
