Purani Dilli 6 pacer Prince Yadav has made history by taking the first-ever hat-trick in the inaugural season of Delhi Premier League. The right arm pacer achieved this feat on August 23 at Arun Jaitley Stadium, during the ninth match against Central Delhi Kings.
It was in the 18th over when Yadav first got rid of Keshav Dabas on the fourth ball. The right-handed batter attempted to hit out the short one but was caught at deep square leg boundary line.
On the very next delivery, Yadav trapped Sumit Kumar in front as he bagged two wickets in two balls on this occasion. He completed his hat-trick with a full toss that Harish Dagar missed and chose to be ruled βoutβ LBW by an umpire instead.

The heroics of Prince Yadav made no significant effect on the Central Delhi Kings, who Comprehensive their innings at 217-7 in just 20 overs. Jonty Sidhu was on fire, making 50 off 22 balls containing nobody evades three boundaries and four sixes.
In contrast, Aryan Rana stayed unbeaten on 75 runs from 38 balls that comprised nine fours and three sixes respectively. However, Yadav had to pay 47 runs in just four overs even though he brought down three wickets.
An outstanding performance by the bowlers secured a 109-run victory for the Kings
After losing opener Arpit Rana on just two balls for a duck and Manjeet soon after for five runs, Purani Dilli 6 had a difficult start in their quest for 218. Though its key players were Sanat Sangwan (33 off 18 balls) and Shivam Sharma (36 off 22), these two were not enough to stop the pace attack from Delhi Kings.
In what turned out to be an unequal battle, Dilli 6 was bowled out for 108 in 12.1 overs, thus falling short by 109 runs against the target. While Sumit Kumar took four wickets for Kings to emerge as the best bowler, Money Grewal and Jonty Sidhu shared three wickets apiece.
