The article recalls the dramatic cricket match between Sri Lanka (SL) and India (IND), in which Ravi Bishnoi, the Indian bowler, dismissed Pathum Nissanka, the Sri Lankan batsman, in an unlucky dismissal.
Bishnoi claimed Pathum Nissanka’s wicket. The hitter was unlucky to get dismissed. Nissanka was awarded an LBW, but he reviewed it. To his poor luck, the impact was on the umpire’s call and the ball was found to be hitting the stumps.
For this second T20 match against Sri Lanka, an injured Shubman Gill was replaced by Sanju Samson due to a neck spasm. India’s Suryakumar Yadav won the sanest task at hand, which was tossing first for his team and chose to bowl first as well all over Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.

Ravi Bishnoi dismissed Pathum Nissanka, giving India a much-needed breakthrough. Nissanka was taken aback by Bishnoi’s delivery, which had a flatter trajectory than expected. The ball was thrown outside off, then abruptly turned back in, striking the front pad before the bat.
Nissanka got the LBW and reviewed the decision, but luck was not on his side. The umpire ruled that the ball had hit the stumps. Nissanka’s unfortunate dismissal gifted India with an important wicket at a critical time.
Soon after the period, Kusal Perera was removed from the match by Hardik Pandya, who also gave him a cool send-off. Rinku Singh ended Perera’s innings with a brilliant catch at deep square leg.
Hardik halted and regarded Perera silently as soon as Rinku finished the catch. In the second Twenty20 International at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Sri Lanka is six down against India.
