[WATCH] Rishabh Pant And MS Dhoni Share Fun Moment At Toss Ahead Of LSG vs CSK IPL 2025

Rishabh Pant and MS Dhoni shared a humorous moment at the toss before the IPL 2025 match between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on April 14. Pant is captaining LSG this season, while Dhoni stepped in as CSK’s captain after Ruturaj Gaikwad was sidelined with an elbow injury.

During the toss, the two captains exchanged a few words and shared a laugh, seemingly teasing each other. You can watch the video here:

CSK won the toss and chose to bowl first. They made two changes to their lineup, bringing in Jamie Overton and Shaik Rasheed in place of Ravichandran Ashwin and Devon Conway.

MS Dhoni’s CSK aim to bounce back with a win over LSG

CSK have had a tough IPL 2025 campaign so far. After starting with a win over Mumbai Indians, they have endured five straight losses heading into their match against LSG. With just one win and five defeats from six matches, CSK sit at the bottom of the table with only two points.

Even after MS Dhoni returned as captain, their form didn’t turn around, as they suffered an eight-wicket defeat at the hands of defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders. Batting has been one of CSK’s biggest concerns this season, repeatedly costing them games. As they gear up to face LSG at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow, they’ll be eager to finally break their losing streak.

But the challenge will be stiff, with Rishabh Pant’s LSG side in excellent touch. Having won their last three matches, LSG are riding high on momentum with four wins from six games and will look to extend their winning run against a struggling CSK outfit.
