Mumbai Indians won their first match of IPL 2022 against Rajasthan Royals. This was their first win after losing the first eight consecutive matches. It’s necessary for players to have good bonding in tough times when the team isn’t doing well.
Recently, Rohit Sharma posted a video of team bonding session on his instagram handle. In the video, it can be seen that MI captain Rohit Sharma is playing a game with his teammates Basil Thampi, Dewald Brevis, Aryan Juyal, and 2 other members of the MI camp.
The rules of the game were very simple. The players had to catch the ball thrown at them. But the most important rule of the game was that the thrower had to fake it while throwing the ball. Any player who made a false response while trying to catch or dropped a catch would be eliminated.
The game was played in five rounds with six MI players taking part in it. At the end, Rohit Sharma emerged as the winner of the team bonding game. MI teammates seemed to enjoy this game a lot. “Top guys but rather flinchy @aryanjuyal_eleven @dewald_brevis_17 @saaaa1986 @basilthamby @nareshmedtiya” Rohit captioned his Instagram post.

‘If you keep taking wickets, it’s going to be difficult for them’ : Rohit Sharma praises bowlers
After winning their first match of IPL 2022 , Rohit Sharma praised his Bowlers for creating pressure on the opposition team. “I’d definitely take it (win), that’s how we play, real potential came out today, with the ball specially. They kept applying the pressure. If you keep taking wickets, it’s going to be difficult for them, we did that perfectly today” said Rohit Sharma in post match presentation.
Rohit Sharma has been in poor form in IPL 2022. He has managed to score just 155 runs in 9 matches in IPL 2022 at a strike rate of 123. These numbers are very poor for the standards of Rohit Sharma. Rohit has also struggled to score even a single fifty plus score in the first 9 matches of IPL 2022. MI would hope their captain steps up with bat.
