The clip shows Shardul Thakur pulling weights during a gym workout, while Rohit Sharma follows behind, copying his movements without actually lifting anything. Rohit mimics Shardul’s style, walking in a similar way with one arm stretched forward and the other pretending to pull the weight.
Although Shardul is genuinely working out, Rohit playfully acts as if he’s doing the same, moving forward and imitating the exercise. Rohit Sharma is currently sidelined due to injury and is not part of the Mumbai Indians’ playing XI.
Rohit Sharma likely to return for MI vs SRH after injury recovery
Rohit Sharma has boosted his preparations as he nears a potential return for the Mumbai Indians in their match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Wankhede Stadium on April 29. He has been sidelined since April 12 after sustaining a hamstring injury during Mumbai Indians’ defeat to the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Mumbai.
Since then, Rohit has been closely working with the medical and support staff to regain full fitness. According to reports, the former India captain is highly likely to be available for selection for the upcoming clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
He has been training regularly and putting in gym sessions without any complications, with the physios confident about his return. So far, Rohit has not experienced any pain or discomfort during his recovery.
