[WATCH]-‘She Is Really Enjoying Swinging The Bat’: Virat Kohli Shares A Personal Story About His Daughter Vamika

India and RCB’s batting veteran, Virat Kohli, discussed his personal life and the team’s recent performance in a candid interview with Royal Challengers Bangalore. Speaking with Mr. Nags, portrayed by Danish Sait, Kohli shared a heartwarming update about his daughter, Vamika.

When questioned about his children, Kohli promptly provided an update on their well-being.

“Baby is good, healthy. Everything is fine, thank you!” Kohli said when asked about his new-born son Akaay.

He then delved into Vamika’s budding interest in cricket. “My daughter has picked up a bat and she is really enjoying swinging the bat. But I am not sure. It’s their choice at the end of the day.”

Shifting focus to RCB’s IPL performance, Kohli conveyed his contentment with the team’s recent improvement.

“The month of May has been very good. In April, I thought we were going into a very dark place. We found a ray of sunlight in May. We are glad that we made the fans happy again,” Kohli remarked on the team’s revival and the favourable influence it has had on their fans.

As RCB gears up for a pivotal match against Chennai Super Kings at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Kohli’s remarks offer a peek into the personal and professional realms of one of cricket’s eminent figures.

The match, potentially signaling MS Dhoni’s farewell from CSK, adds another dimension of importance to the event, elevating it to a highly anticipated spectacle for cricket enthusiasts globally.

CSK and RCB will compete for the lone remaining spot in the playoffs

RCB welcomes CSK for their last league match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, attracting widespread attention to the high-stakes showdown. It’s a face-off between Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni, promising an intense battle for a top-four berth.

While RCB aims for the fourth spot, CSK eyes a potential rise to second place in the points table. The Super Kings, currently holding 14 points, possess a slightly stronger chance of advancing due to their higher points tally and superior Net Run Rate of +0.528.

Meanwhile, the Royal Challengers have accumulated 12 points ahead of the last league match. Although weather conditions have cast a shadow over the match, if it gets abandoned, CSK would advance.

However, even if the match proceeds and RCB defeats CSK, their progression is not assured. The Faf du Plessis-led team must defeat CSK by a margin of at least 18 runs if they bat first and post a total of 200 runs.

If RCB wins by 17 runs or less in the same scenario, they will be eliminated due to an inferior Net Run Rate. If RCB is batting second, they need to achieve the target with 11 balls to spare when chasing 201 runs.

Therefore, the qualification scenario is not straightforward for RCB, with CSK having a slightly better chance of securing a top 4 berth given the current circumstances. For the Super Kings to qualify, they can tolerate a narrow defeat even without winning the match.
