Shreyas Iyer, the competent Indian batter recently shared a video of him, smashing some deliveries in the nets. The 27-year-old cricketer posted this video via his official social media handles.
Iyer was last seen in action with his franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), during the Indian Premier League (IPL), for the last couple of months. Iyer, particularly in the IPL, managed to score 401 runs in 14 innings, at a strike rate of 134.56.
Shreyas Iyer, while posting the video, wrote, “Back to the grind (explosion emoji)“.

The 27-year-old also led his newest franchisee KKR, for the 15th edition of the tournament. KKR, in the end, finished seventh in the tournament, winning six out of 14 encounters.

Besides, after a hectic and relatively inadequate run in the tournament, Shreyas Iyer is set to undertake an international season with a five-match T20I series against South Africa; the home series will be played between June 9 to June 19, in Delhi, Cuttak, Vizag, Rajkot, and Bengaluru.
Although, regulars like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami, and Ravindra Jadeja are rested by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), for the series; KL Rahul will be leading the way for India.
