[WATCH] “Sir I Would Like To Correct You” – Suryakumar Yadav Corrects Journalist Over Century Count

Team India cricketer Suryakumar Yadav’s batting prowess was on display during the third T20I against West Indies on Tuesday, August 8 a Providence Stadium, Guyana. He led India to a comfortable win by seven wickets to make a comeback in the series. However, they are still trailing 2-1 in the five-match series.

Suryakumar Yadav slammed 83 runs off just 44 deliveries, with ten boundaries and four sixes, at a strike rate of 188.64. India chased down 160 runs in the eighteen over, on the back of his performance, and Tilak Varma’s 49-run knock. Following the win, Suryakumar Yadav engaged in a candid chat with the reporters.

He also corrected a reporter over a century count. When the reporter asked the batter about approaching his third T20I century, the vice-captain was quick to interrupt. He said,

“Sir, I would like to correct you first, it would have been a fourth 100.”

I never think about milestones: Suryakumar Yadav
