India’s debutant, Ramandeep Singh, made an immediate impact in international cricket, smashing a six off his very first ball in the third T20I against South Africa in Centurion on Wednesday, November 13. The stunning shot left India captain Suryakumar Yadav and all-rounder Hardik Pandya visibly impressed.

The remarkable moment occurred in the 18th over of India’s innings. Andile Simelane bowled a delivery on the off stump, which Ramandeep effortlessly drove over long-on for a clean six, earning applause from Suryakumar and Hardik. Jio Cinema shared the video on X, captioning the post:

Ramandeep Singh made a strong debut for India, scoring 15 runs off six balls in his first appearance for the Men in Blue. He was run out by South African wicketkeeper Heinrich Klaasen off the second-last delivery of India’s innings.

Ramandeep earned his spot in the India squad after impressing with Kolkata Knight Riders in the previous season of the Indian Premier League. The right-handed batsman accumulated 125 runs in nine innings, boasting an explosive strike rate of 201.61.

Tilak Varma was the standout performer as India posted 219/6 in the third T20I against South Africa. The left-hander scored an unbeaten 107 off 56 balls, including seven sixes and eight boundaries. Abhishek Sharma also contributed with a brisk 50 off 25 balls, adding five sixes and three fours.

Together, they put on a 107-run partnership for the second wicket after India lost Sanju Samson for a duck. Andile Simelane and Keshav Maharaj were the top wicket-takers for South Africa, claiming two wickets each, while Marco Jansen took one.

The four-match T20I series is tied at 1-1, with India winning the first match by 61 runs and South Africa leveling the series with a three-wicket win in the second game.
