India captain Suryakumar Yadav showed a compassionate gesture by signaling security to ease up on a fan who ran onto the field to hug Hardik Pandya during their T20 World Cup 2026 match against Namibia. India went on to record a commanding 93-run win on Thursday, February 12.
During the match, a fan entered the field and sprinted toward Hardik Pandya to embrace the star all-rounder. As the fan ran onto the pitch, security personnel quickly chased him to intervene. When one of the officials approached, Suryakumar Yadav, standing beside Hardik, signaled with his hand for the official to ease up on the fan.
