Recently Suryakumar Yadav, who is the captain of T20I team India, made fans laugh by recreating popular ‘Paani’ scene by Rajpal Yadav from Akshay Kumar’s film Bhool Bhulaiyaa. For trying this out there was huge approval from the cricket’s star follower base on social media channels.
Suryakumar posted a video on his official Instagram account where he could be seen walking in the rain with Bhool Bhulaiyaa music playing in background and jumped when he heard ‘Paani’ spoken in it.
The cricketer captioned the post:

Suryakumar Yadav’s first term as T20I captain for India was successful. Last month, his team won all three matches against Sri Lanka by whitewashing them 3-0. The aggressive batsman has not yet appeared in any of the games played by India during the next ODI series. However, he will compete in the 17th Duleep Trophy that is scheduled and has been selected for Team C.
Suryakumar Yadav will be participating in the current Buchi Babu Tournament 2024
A strong desire to play all three formats of the game weighs heavily on Suryakumar Yadav’s mind. He plans to play well soon in red-ball domestic matches to be selected again for them by the national selectors.
He is participating in the Buchi Babu tournament happening from now on. His inclusion in Mumbai’s team will be required for their match against Jammu and Kashmir. It is scheduled to occur in Coimbatore starting from August 28.
In an interview with The Indian Express, Suryakumar stated that he would join Mumbai’s team post-August 25. He said:
“I will be playing Buchi Babu tournament. It will give me a good practice session before the domestic season starts. I will join the team after the 25th. I’m always available to play for Mumbai and club team whenever free.”
Only one Test match is played by Suryakumar Yadav thus far in his career. In February 2023, he made his debut against Australia. However, he could not make an impact with the bat during the meeting and was dismissed after scoring only eight runs.
