A closer look at the life of CSK’s biggest fan, S Ramdas

Last week, the Chennai Super Kings uploaded a video on their YouTube channel offering a glimpse into the life of S Ramdas and his enduring love for cricket, even at the age of 103.

The video features Ramdas’ son conversing with his father and providing insights into his life and his deep affection for cricket. S Ramdas served in the British Military and was stationed in Tirchy in the Air-right Precaution unit, where he also played cricket.

Ramdas expressed his profound love for cricket in the video, showcasing his passion for the game. He said:

“I am 103 years old. And I am not an old man. As I am senior youth! I like cricket. I watch cricket.”

In the video, Ramdas’ son detailed how his father remains dedicated to following the IPL, watching the entire game with enthusiasm despite his advanced age.

Ramdas jokingly suggested to his son that if CSK were playing in Delhi, he could walk to the game. Currently, Chennai has won five out of their ten games and occupies the fifth position in the points table.
