[WATCH]- Virat Kohli And Anushka Sharma Enjoy Playing Street Cricket In A New Advertisement

Team India star Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma recently had fun playing gully cricket while filming an advertisement. The couple, who married in 2017 in a private ceremony, has two children, Vamika and Akaay.

Kohli’s last appearance on the field was during the second Test against Bangladesh in Kanpur, where India secured a remarkable victory, winning the two-match series 2-0. After scoring just six and 17 in the first Test, he rebounded in the second match with scores of 47 and 29*, preparing for a busy Test season ahead.

On Wednesday, Anushka Sharma shared a video on her official Instagram, showcasing a gully cricket match between her and Virat, featuring humorous rules and lighthearted banter.

“While it’s great that he scored runs, there was a lack of dominance, class, and finesseā€- Aakash Chopra discussed Virat Kohli’s performances

Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra assessed Virat Kohli’s batting in the recent Test series against Bangladesh and suggested that he is still not performing at his peak. Chopra attributed this to a lack of quality game time in recent months.

During a discussion on Colors Cineplex, Aakash Chopra stated:

“When he plays, you expect the ball to always hit the middle of the bat. The ball didn’t hit the middle of his bat that much. However, I am also seeing from the perspective that he didn’t play anything after the T20 World Cup, went to Sri Lanka, and didn’t score runs in three innings. After that, you come here straight.”

He further continued:

“A great player, but he still needs to score runs because he will not play the T20Is and there will be a gap of 15 days again, so runs should keep getting scored. It’s good that he scored runs but the dominance, class and finesse were not seen in Virat Kohli’s these innings.”

Kohli is set to return to the field on October 16 for the Test series against New Zealand at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
