Veteran Indian cricketer Virat Kohli was recently seen in London with his wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, enjoying a casual walk through the city. The 36-year-old last played in the 2025 IPL, where he represented Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).
Kohli emerged as RCB’s top performer in the tournament, scoring 657 runs across 15 innings at an impressive average of 54.75 and a strike rate of 144.71. He registered eight half-centuries during the season and played a crucial role in guiding the franchise to their first-ever IPL title under skipper Rajat Patidar.
Since the conclusion of the IPL in early June, Kohli has been spending time in London with his family. On Sunday, August 17, a fan page named @KohliSensation shared a video on X, capturing the star batter strolling with Anushka Sharma and interacting cheerfully with locals.

“Something pushed him” – Karsan Ghavri on Virat Kohli’s retirement call
Ex-India cricketer Karsan Ghavri has shared a bold opinion on Virat Kohli’s decision to retire from Test cricket. The 36-year-old batter had revealed his plans to bid farewell to the longest format in May, just before the recently concluded five-match Test series in England.
In a conversation on Vickey Lalwani’s YouTube channel, featured in a video published on Friday, August 15, Ghavri stated:
“He [Kohli] should have definitely continued playing for India easily, probably for another couple of years. But something really forced him to retire. And unfortunately, when he retired, he was not even given a farewell by the BCCI. Such players, such a great player who has done such great service to BCCI, India cricket and Indian fans, should be given a grand and fabulous farewell.”
