[WATCH]- Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir Do Not Interact During Practice Ahead of England ODI

Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir were once again the centre of attention ahead of India’s ODI series against England after the duo reportedly did not interact during the team’s training session at Edgbaston.

As India continued preparations for the opening ODI, the lack of any visible conversation between the star batter and the head coach became one of the main talking points from the practice session.

According to a report by Times Now, Gautam Gambhir was seen interacting with several senior players during the training session, including former captain Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, and KL Rahul. Virat Kohli, meanwhile, concentrated on an extended batting session in the nets as part of his preparations for the ODI series.

After finishing his practice, Kohli had a separate conversation with batting coach Sitanshu Kotak, who later went on to speak with Gambhir.

Kohli & Gambhir’s Lack Of Communication Raises Questions Before England Series

The absence of direct communication between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir has once again raised questions about their relationship. There was no sign of any disagreement during the training session, but the lack of interaction attracted attention because of their past and the public interest in their equation.

Kohli and Gambhir have shared a well-known rivalry over the years, with their on-field clashes in the Indian Premier League making headlines. However, both have moved on, with Gambhir now serving as India’s head coach and Kohli continuing to be one of the team’s most experienced players.

Every interaction, or the lack of it, between Kohli and Gambhir continues to attract attention from fans. However, India’s main focus remains the upcoming ODI series against England. Kohli will be looking to make a strong start with the bat, while Gambhir continues to oversee the team’s preparations.

Whether the lack of interaction was simply part of a normal training session or meant something more is not clear, but it has become one of the main talking points ahead of the first ODI.
