Virat Kohli, the former captain of India, has been in the news ever since he arrived in Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Due to the former captain’s presence, his training sessions have created a great deal of excitement and dominated the front pages of major Australian publications.

Kohli was the focus of attention at his first official training session at the WACA on Wednesday. Even though the Indian team trains in secret, some fans came to the training facility to see their favorite star when Kohli arrived.

Kohli, expected to be one of the major players of the series, is in focus as Rohit Sharma’s side gears up for its BGT title chase. The start of the series, basically a cricket tie between two of the leading cricket-playing nations of the world seems to be a promising match as the Australian media and the fans have been waiting for it.

To see the Indian batsman in action, a number of Virat Kohli’s ardent supporters went to considerable measures. Some fans even bought ladders and scaled trees to see Kohli train at the WACA, according to reports. In preparation for the forthcoming Test series against Australia, the Indian team is now in training.

Despite his recent struggles in Test cricket, Kohli seems comfortable on the lively WACA track. He had little trouble playing rising deliveries, but he had trouble with a few short balls. Sarfaraz Khan and other Indian batters trained in the nets as well.

Sarfaraz Khan, who is making his first trip to Australia, had trouble with short balls and occasionally shot onto his stumps. At the nets, Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah faced off against Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul, who are expected to play in the Perth Test.
