Star batter Virat Kohli attracted huge attention at the Bengaluru airport following his impressive performances in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT) 2025–26. Kohli featured in two matches for Delhi, taking on Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat during the tournament.

After Delhi’s clash against Gujarat on Friday, December 26, Kohli was seen at the Bengaluru airport, where he was quickly surrounded by a large crowd despite tight security. Photographers and fans gathered around him, asking questions about his form in the VHT 2025–26, his travel plans, and requesting photographs.

Kohli was observed calmly urging those around him to slow down and not rush. He happily posed for pictures and appeared relaxed and cheerful throughout the interaction. The former India captain was dressed in a black textured sweater, black trousers, and a cap, and carried a small bag.

Virat Kohli was named Player of the Match for his outstanding performance against Gujarat, where he scored an impressive 77 off 61 deliveries. His knock included 13 fours and a six, striking at 126.22, and played a key role in Delhi’s victory. Earlier, in Delhi’s opening match against Andhra Pradesh, Kohli produced a superb century, scoring 131 runs from 101 balls.

The innings featured 14 boundaries and three sixes, with a strike rate of 129.70. Whether Kohli will turn out for Delhi in another Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025–26 match remains uncertain, as he is expected to link up with the Indian squad ahead of the ODI series against New Zealand in January 2026.

Virat Kohli Finishes 2025 In Style

Virat Kohli ended the year on a strong note with excellent performances in both international and domestic cricket. In the recent ODI series against South Africa, he proved his place in the team for the 2027 World Cup.

He scored 302 runs in three matches at an average of 151 and a strike rate of 117.05, including two centuries and a fifty, with scores of 135, 102, and 65 not out. He continued his good form in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025–26, scoring 208 runs in two matches at a strike rate of 128.39.

Kohli’s consistent performances at the end of the year and ahead of the upcoming New Zealand series are encouraging news for Team India.
