[WATCH]- Virat Kohli Spotted With RCB Star Before ENG vs NZ 2nd Test

India batting star Virat Kohli was recently seen spending time with his Royal Challengers Bengaluru teammate Jordan Cox in London. The pair were spotted chatting at a café ahead of the young wicketkeeper-batter’s anticipated Test debut.

Cox has been included in England’s playing XI for the second Test of the three-match series against New Zealand, which begins at The Oval on Wednesday, June 17. Ahead of the landmark occasion, the 25-year-old was seen catching up with Kohli in London. Watch the video here:

Royal Challengers Bengaluru signed Jordan Cox for his base price of ₹75 lakh at the IPL 2026 mini-auction. However, the wicketkeeper-batter did not feature in a single match during the season. RCB went on to secure their second successive IPL title, defeating the Gujarat Titans by five wickets in the final.

Virat Kohli starred in the title clash, earning the Player of the Match award for his unbeaten 75 off 42 deliveries. The veteran batter enjoyed another outstanding campaign, scoring 675 runs in 16 innings at a strike rate of 165.85 and finishing as the fourth-highest run-scorer of the tournament.

Jordan Cox reflected on his relationship with Virat Kohli following IPL 2026, highlighting the veteran batter’s willingness to guide and support younger players. Speaking to ESPNcricinfo, the wicketkeeper-batter praised Kohli for freely sharing his experience and insights with teammates. He said:

“He [Virat Kohli] will give you every single bit of information he has in his brain to try and help you, which for me was something that I didn’t expect… For someone like that who’s achieved everything you’d want to achieve in the game, he gives you everything.”

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli was originally selected in India’s squad for the ongoing three-match ODI series against Afghanistan. However, the former captain was forced to withdraw after suffering a hamstring injury during the IPL 2026 final. Yashasvi Jaiswal was subsequently named as his replacement for the series.
