Yashasvi Jaiswal set the tone for India after a narrow four-run first-innings lead on Day 2 of the fifth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) in Sydney on Saturday, January 4. The left-handed batter smashed four boundaries, including three in a row, off Mitchell Starc in the first over of India’s second innings.
After leaving the first delivery, Jaiswal cut a short ball outside off over backward point for a boundary. He repeated the shot for identical results on the next two deliveries. After missing the fifth ball, he drove the last one through cover to make it 16 runs off the over.
