Australian cricket player Adam Zampa was born in Shellharbour, New South Wales, on March 31, 1992. One of the world’s best leg-spinners, he is a right-arm leg-break bowler and right-handed hitter.

Zampa became the most effective Australian white-ball spinning bowler in limited-overs cricket, second only to the legendary Shane Warne. In 2016 he became a permanent feature in the Australian limited oval teams with fine shows both for Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League and South Australian Tigers in the Domestic one-day Cup.

Zampa had 13 wickets in his account and he bowled at an economy rate of 5. 81 seven in over matches proved vital in Australia’s triumph in T20 World Cup in 2021. Adam Zampa has participated in 100 ODI matches to date. At an average of 28.06, he has captured 169 wickets, with his highest individual total being 5 for 35. Adam Zampa has taken 92 wickets at an average of 22.63 in his 80 T20 games thus far. His best individual performance was 5 for 19.

In the ICC T20 bowling rankings, Zampa is ranked 12th, and in the ODI bowling rankings, he is ranked third. In 2016, he made his debut on the international scene against South Africa in both the ODI and T20I formats.

Zampa tied Murali’s record for most wickets taken in a World Cup with 23 from 11 matches, playing a major part in Australia’s 2023 ICC World Cup campaign.
