Kottasinghakkarage Nishan Madushka Fernando (born September 10, 1999) is an eminent cricketer from Sri Lanka. Currently, he plays as an opening batter for the national Test team. In 2018, he participated in the tournament held in Dambulla with respect to the Super Provincial One Day Tournament.
He made his List A debut against Dambulla on 2nd May of the year 2018 during this higher/richer grade of cricket. Additionally, prior to this event, he was a member of Sri Lanka’s team that participated in the Under-19 Cricket World Cup back in 2018.

Domestic career
He was picked in the Galle squad for the 2018 SLC T20 League team in August of 2018. On August 25, 2018, he made his debut in T20 cricket for Galle. He was selected to play for Kandy Tuskers in the inaugural edition of the Lanka Premier League in October, 2020.
In August 2021, he was named as part of SLC Blues’ squad for the 2021 SLC Invitational T20 League tournament. He is the top run-scorer of Major League Tournament 2022 where he scored a total over 15 innings amounting to 1229 runs with best ever performance being an unbeaten 300 runs.
International Career
Madushka was selected for inclusion in Sri Lanka’s Test team for their conference against New Zealand on February 2023. He made his Test debut during the second Test match which took place on17th March 2023.
On April 27, 2023, he scored his first ever ton in test cricket against Ireland, where he later converted it into a double hundred. He made 205 runs off 339 balls hitting 22 fours and one six in total. As a result, finally, Sri Lanka won this game together with the series itself.
