Renowned Indian cricketer Khaleel Ahmed was born in Tonk, Rajasthan, on December 5, 1997. Khaleel, who has represented India in several cricket formats, is a left-arm fast-medium bowler. Even at 27 years old in 2024, he is still making a big impact on the sport.

Throughout his 11-match ODI career, Khaleel Ahmed has taken 15 wickets at an average of 31.0 and given up 5.81 runs per over. In the 11 T20 matches he played, he took 11 wickets at an average of 31.91 and gave up 8.77 runs per over.

Since making his 2018 IPL debut, Khaleel has participated in 44 matches, taking 59 wickets at an average of 24.49 and giving up 8.67 runs per over. By acquiring Khaleel Ahmed for Rs 5.25 Cr in the IPL 2024 auction, the Delhi franchise was able to bolster its bowling lineup.

He was included in the India One Day International (ODI) team for the 2018 Asia Cup in September of that year. On September 18, 2018, he played his first-ever ODI for India against Hong Kong.

He was included in the Indian Twenty20 International (T20I) team for their October 2018 series against the West Indies. On November 4, 2018, he made his debut for India in the Twenty20 International format against the West Indies. He was included on the Indian team’s reserve roster for the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in May of that year.
