Afghanistan’s star leg-spinner, Rashid Khan, had an encounter with Bollywood’s renowned couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, while he was in New York. Rashid had just taken part in the Asia Cup 2023, where his team exited in the group stage in early September.
Rashid Khan shared a photo of his meeting with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt on his official Instagram account, referring to them as the top stars of Bollywood.
“With Bollywood’s biggest ⭐️🤩 It was lovely to meet you #RANBIR @aliaabhatt,” he wrote.

Rashid Khan’s performance in the Asia Cup 2023 fell short of expectations
Rashid Khan faced a challenging time with the ball during the Asia Cup 2023. In the first match against Bangladesh, he failed to take any wickets, and in the subsequent game against Sri Lanka, he managed to secure two wickets while conceding 66 and 63 runs in his 10-over spells, respectively.
Rashid Khan is now gearing up for the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 in India, where Afghanistan has a busy schedule:
