To compete against a star-studded Asia XI, the World XI has also included some of the best players in the shortest format for the upcoming Asia XI vs World XI T20 series. While players from Asian contingent has formed the Asian XI squad, players from rest of the world will be a part of the World XI.
Four cricketers from West Indies, one from Australia, three from England, two from New Zealand, and two from South Africa will participate. While Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard, Sheldon Cottrell, and Nicholas Pooran feature from the Caribbean Island, Australia have only one player in the form of Andrew Tye. Star England batsman Alex Hales and Jonny Bairstow will also be a part of the squad alongside veteran leg-spinner Adil Rashid.

Former South Africa skipper Faf du Plessis will lead the side and is one of the two cricketers from South Africa alongside Lungi Ngidi. Mitchell McClenaghan and veteran batsman Ross Taylor, who hails from New Zealand complete the squad.
Bangladesh will host two T20Is to celebrate the 100th birthday of their Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The matches will take place on March 18 and 21 and will have international status.
The Asia XI squad feature six Indian cricketers in the form of Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan, Mohammed Shami, Rishabh Pant, and Kuldeep Yadav and also features cricketers from Nepal and Afghanistan.
