Rishabh Pant, an Indian wicketkeeper-batsman, may not be participating in the ICC World Test Championship final at The Oval against Australia, but he is watching the game from the comfort of his home.
Pant is currently regaining health after suffering serious injuries in a terrible car accident last year.
On Instagram, Pant posted a picture of himself watching the game. He captioned his story with an emoji of crossed fingers and a heart.
During the WTC 2021–23 cycle, Pant was a superstar for India, helping his team win a lot of games.
He scored 868 runs with an average of 43 points per game in 12 games. With a top score of 146, he recorded two centuries and five fifty-scores.

Pant scored 1,575 runs in 41 innings, averaging 41 points and 44 seconds, in 24 WTC games, including those that took place in the 2019–21 cycle.
With a top score of 146, he has recorded three centuries and nine fifties.
Unfortunately, the car accident in December of last year forced him to end his WTC run early. He is replaced by KS Bharat, who bats and serves as the wicketkeeper.
Speaking of the game, India trailed their opponents by 318 runs in the first innings of the WTC Final against Australia here on Thursday when play ended at 151 for 5.
After resuming at The Oval from an overnight score of 327 for three, the Australians were bowled out for 469 in their first essay.
After having trouble on day one against century-makers Steve Smith and Travis Head, the Indian pacers did well to contain Australia.
Before being dismissed for a respectable 121, Smith scored his 31st Test century. While Head went on to make a counterattacking 163.
The most effective Indian bowler was Mohammed Siraj, who finished with 4/108 in 28.3 overs. Mohammed Shami and Shardul Thakur both took two wickets.
