The Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise based team Mumbai Indians extended their favor presenting the WWE Champion Jinder Mahal with a custom made jersey of MI with his name written on the back of the jersey after the CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment Triple H gifted a custom made World Heavyweight Championship belt on being crowned the champions in this edition of the tournament. He had number 5 printed on his jersey.
Mahal hanged on to his championship when he beat Randy Orton earlier on Monday, with help from former World Heavyweight Champion the Great Khali.
In the video posted by WWE India last week on twitter, Mahal congratulated Mumbai Indians and conveyed that he felt proud wearing the jersey. “Hello India, this is your WWE champion Jinder Mahal and I want to send a big thank you to the Mumbai Indians for sending me this custom jersey with my name on it. And I will wear it with pride. Cricket Meri Jaan!” he was heard saying in the video.

Earlier this month the Mumbai Indian’s Captain Rohit Sharma was seen exhibiting the belt the team received as a gift. He took to twitter to thank WWE India and posted a picture of him with the belt saying, “This is unreal. Thank you Triple-H and @wwe for sending this @mumbaiindians,”

It was not only Mumbai Indians, but earlier WWE presented NBA champs and premier league winners Chelsea with such customized plate belts. WWE is very eager to expand their reach to all parts of the world and such gesticulation will surely improve their cause.
