The outbreak of coronavirus pandemic has forced most parts of the world to go into a complete lockdown. The lockdown means there are no cricketing activities and the players are staying inside their homes to curb the spread of the disease. Notably, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has also postponed the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) until April 14.
Since it broke out in China, the COVID-19 has taken away more than 97000Â lives. China, Spain, Italy, and the United States of America are the most affected places in the world. In India also there have been more than 7000Â positive cases registered with the death toll touching crossing 200.

Team India cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal opened up that he can’t take the lockdown anymore. In a chat with sports presenter Jatin Sapru, Chahal revealed that he’s done being inside his house and plans to not return home for some time when the lockdown is lifted.
“Main apne ghar se lockdown ho jaunga (I will get lock-downed from my home), I will not come back to my home, that’s it for me…I can’t take this anymore, can’t stay at home for longer now. These days of staying at home will suffice for the next three years now,” he said.

Furthermore, Yuzvendra Chahal expressed he will prefer living in a hotel nearby than staying at home when the global crisis ends. He also revealed that he is missing playing cricket and is looking forward to return to the ground soon.
“I will live in a nearby hotel but will not stay at home, that’s it for me now, can’t bear any more lockdown days,” Chahal asserted.
Meanwhile, going by the current scenario there is a chance that the lockdown might be extended by two more weeks.
