We know Robin Uthappa the India and Kolkata Knight Riders batsman as a rather serious batsman who likes to express himself with the bat. But not everyone knows Uthappa the romantic, the side he revealed on the social media platform Instagram.

India batsman Robin Uthappa (left) posted this picture on Instagram with his wife Sheethal Goutham recently. He captioned it, “Happy birthday my Queen!! you are the desire of my soul and the love of my life. You complete me!! I love you and cherish you with all my heart and soul!! May God bless you and protect you and our lil angel!!”

A few days ago Robin Uthappa posted another cute picture of him and his wife on Instagram. Sheetal has a cute bump on her stomach in the picture which means the little one is on its way. But what stood out in the post was the romantic caption Uthappa wrote for his wife on her birthday.

Uthappa and Sheetal met in the year 2008. What started off as friendship, blossomed into a beautiful relationship which has been successful until today. Sheetal is often spotted at the stadiums, especially at the Eden Gardens during IPL, supporting her better half. Although the wicketkeeper-batsman has enjoyed a lot of success in the Indian Premier League, being instrumental in both the years when KKR won the title – in 2012 and 2014, his chances to don the national jerseys seem unlikely.
