Kings XI Punjab had the worst start to their campaign losing six out of the first seven games in IPL 2020. Although they redeemed themselves by winning five consecutive matches at the end but that’s because of their strong top-order.
Barring Nicholas Pooran to an extent, none of their middle-order overseas recruits whether it was Glenn Maxwell or James Neesham contributed with the bat. Now that they have released Maxwell and Neesham, Shakib Al Hasan can be a good bet for the side in IPL 2021.
Along with the other two franchises, Kings XI are also expected to go big for Shakib Al Hasan in IPL 2021 auction scheduled to take place on February 18.
