Abu Dhabi T-10 League

Nicholas Pooran and the T-10 format is a match made in heaven. The dynamic left-handed batsman was at his devastating best during a match in the ongoing T10 League. Pooran once again showcased why he is rated among the best six hitters in the world. The 25-year-old peppered the leg side and smashed 13 sixes in the Abu Dhabi T-10 league.

The captain of the Northern Warriors played a special knock as he took the bowling of the Bangla tigers to the cleaners. Pooran put on an absolute exhibition of six-hitting as he sent the ball over the ropes 12 times in just 26 balls.

Pooran was brilliant against both pace and spin as he middled almost every single ball in his knock. Eventually, Pooran scored 89 runs in mere 26 balls and played an all-time great knock. The commentators were in awe of Pooran as he made six-hitting look ridiculously easy against a quality bowling attack.

Pooran’s innings was shared from the official Twitter handle of the T10 League. Here’s the video displaying all 12 sixes of Nicholas Pooran with the caption: “Good morning, here’s all TWELVE sixes from Nicholas Pooran’s ridiculous innings. So good”.

Well, this is not the first time Pooran has electrified the stadium with his colossal sixes. Even in the Big Bash League playing for the Melbourne Sixes, Pooran looked a class apart and made a mockery of the long boundaries of the Australian grounds. The West Indian is currently at the peak of his powers and will be aiming to continue this form even in international cricket.

Coming back to the match on the back of Pooran’s heroics the Northern Warriors ended up with a mammoth score of 162/4 in 10 overs. Pooran hammered 12 sixes and 3 boundaries and ended his innings at a freakish strike-rate of 342.31. Eventually, his team were on the winning side as the Bangla Tigers fell short of the huge target by 30 runs.
