Kepler Wessels is a former South African cricketer who represented Australia in 1983 World Cup and South Africa in 1992 World Cup. He was the first ever player to represent two nations in One Day Internationals.

He played 24 tests for Australia before captaining South Africa in 1992 World Cup. 1992 World Cup was the first tournament that Proteas played after 22 years staying away from the game because of the apartheid policy in South Africa. The South African team was an inexperienced side in 1992 World Cup and was led by Kepler.
