Dhoni was always in the match even if he hadn’t scored runs with the bat he would ultimately win matches from behind the wickets. Over the years we have seen him execute some of the most outrageous stumpings one could ever imagine.

No batsman left his crease in advance when they saw the lightning-fast Dhoni with the keeping gloves. The former India skipper holds the record of executing the most stumpings in ODI cricket. He stumped batsman 123 times and took 321 matches. When it comes to the most dismissals by a wicketkeeper in ODIs, he is only behind Adam Gilchrist and Sangakkara.
