Lalchand Rajput
Lalchand Rajput is the 2nd Indian to have applied for the post of coaching of Indian Cricket Team. He was appointed as interim coach of Zimbabwe Cricket team. In August 2018, Rajput has appointed a full-time role.
He started his coaching career with Under 19 Cricket Team during India’s tour of England. Rajput was the manager of Indian senior Team which won the ICC World T20 in 2007.
Rajput was named as the head coach of the Afghanistan National Cricket Team in June 2016. Under his coaching, Afghanistan stunned West Indies to beat them by 63 runs. His contract with Afghanistan team ended in August 2017.
He was named as the head coach of Winnipeg Hawks side in Global T20 Canada 2019 tournament which is currently taking place.
