2. Youngest IPL captain
During the 2011 IPL season, Virat Kohli at 22 became the youngest player to captain a side in IPL history. Kohli captained RCB in a match against Rajasthan Royals away from home. In the very first match as skipper, Kohli led his side to victory and everyone knew that he will captain the franchise for a very long time.
Kohli was exactly 22 years and 187 when he made his captaincy debut a record which still stands. In 2013, he became a full-time RCB skipper after Daniel Vettori was stripped of the captaincy by the franchise.
