The right arm leg spinner Rahul Chahar performed brilliantly for Mumbai Indians in IPL 12. He was sensational with his bowling taking 13 wickets from 13 matches at an economy of 6.55 runs per over.
In IPL 2019, he bowled in the middle overs by picking wickets and controlling the run flow. His best figures in this yearās IPL was 3/19. This is a great chance to build a team for the T20 World Cup 2020.
Rahul Chahar could be given a chance in the 3 match T20 series. He took 2 for 32 in the first ODI match against West Indies A on 11th July. In the second ODI, Chahar was impressive with figures of 2/47.Ā
He has 24 List A matches and taken 42 wickets with an economy of 4.89 runs per over. In T20 format, Chahar has taken 27 wickets from 25 matches (24 innings) at an economy of 6.98 runs per over.Ā
This will be a great chance for the selectors to choose him in the T20I squad and groom for the big tournament in 2020 World Cup.Ā
