The ongoing Test series between England and Pakistan marks the England team visiting Pakistan for a Test series after 17 years. However, England had not played any Test cricket on Pakistan soil since 2005 before this as well. Meanwhile, the England cricket team’s famous fan group ‘Barmy Army’ have also gone to Pakistan and is rooting for their team from the stands as well.
Meanwhile, on Friday (December 2) during the second day of play in the series opener at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi, Barmy Army made a nice gesture and won the hearts of cricket fans across the world by helping a young Pakistani fan get tickets for a game for two days as well. The video was shared on Barmy Army’s social media account and it went viral on social media in no time as well.
“Meet Daim. He joined us yesterday but didn’t have a ticket for today but one of our kind members helped him get a ticket for today and tomorrow. Two nations, one sport,” Barmy Army captioned their post on Twitter.

Meanwhile, England captain Ben Stokes made headlines with his noble gestures from the England camp in the series as he announced that he will donate his entire match fees from the series to aid flood recovery in Pakistan as well. He further added that he will make the donation to the Pakistan Floods Appeal as well.
As far as the game is concerned, England put up a massive score of 657 with four players scoring centuries as well. In reply, Pakistan finished day 2 with a score of 181 on the board with no wickets to their name yet also in the Pak Vs Eng 1st Test.
