Hanuma Vihari has had a dream tour of West Indies now. He topped the batting charts amassing 289 runs at a fantastic average of 96.33. In the latest interview, he said that a piece of advice from the head coach Ravi Shastri helped him to shine better in the hour of need.
Speaking to fielding coach R Sridhar, he said: “He (Shastri) was talking about flexing my knees a little bit, I was a little upright in the first innings, so flexing my knees meant I could move my foot both on front and back foot.“
Vihari bagged the Man of the Match award for his wonderful century in the first innings of the second test. His innings with Ishant Sharma was applauded by a lot of experts and fans. Additionally, his half-century in the second innings accelerated the scoreboard thus setting a higher target for the hosts.
