They’ve teamed up to launch a talk show titled ‘Kutti Stories,’ a show that promises to offer unique insights into the Indian cricket team’s evolution throughout various phases of the Cricket World Cup. The show is set to explore the team’s journey through the prism of different World Cup editions.
Harsha Bhogle, well-known for his eloquent commentary and cricket analysis, shared his enthusiasm for being part of this new project. He expressed amusement over the choice of the show’s title, “Kutti Stories,” and shared a bit of his own perspective on the word “kutti,” which means “small” in casual conversation.

He conveyed his excitement about joining Ashwin in narrating the cultural and cricketing history of the World Cups, beginning with the 1975 and 1979 editions. In his post, Bhogle reflected on his use of the term “kutti” and how it resonated with the show’s theme.
However, in the world of social media, where opinions and comments flow freely, one user decided to make an incorrect reference to the term.
They claimed that “Kutti” meant something entirely different in Hindi. Without missing a beat, Harsha Bhogle responded with a classic and witty reply, shutting down the inaccurate reference and maintaining the positive spirit of the show’s announcement.
The anticipation surrounding Ravichandran Ashwin’s role in the Indian cricket team has been a subject of discussion, particularly in the context of the Cricket World Cup 2023. His inclusion in the squad for the three-match ODI series against Australia sparked debates about whether he could make a compelling case for his place in the World Cup squad.
This series took on added significance due to the injury to Axar Patel during the Asia Cup in 2023, making it a crucial test for Ashwin to showcase his skills once again.
