The Proteas is currently at number 3 place and would look to consolidate with another dominating performance over Bangladesh. South Africa is on a roll with some lovely performances while Bangladesh would look to register their 2nd win after loss to India in the previous match.

Both teams would be looking for good performances in Mumbai and quality players who can change the course of the game with their abilities.

Here we look at the 5 Players To Look Out For

  1. Quinton de Kock

Quinton de Kock was dismissed without opening his account against England. He would be looking to regain his form with an attacking start and put the bowlers under immense pressure.

He has a great record in One-day internationals against Bangladesh with 428 runs from 9 matches ( 9 innings) including 1 century and 2 half-centuries to his name including the best score of 168 not out. De would be looking to provide a flying start in the first 10 overs that would put enough pressure on the Bangladesh bowlers.

De Kock will be eager to showcase their domination over Bangladesh and help South Africa register another victory.

  1. Liton Das

Liton Das is an excellent player who puts pressure on the opponent bowlers with his attacking mindset. He struggled initially and kept the momentum going for Bangladesh along with Tanzid Hasan.

He showed intent and made life tough for Indian bowlers. Playing his first World Cup match against South Africa, Das would be looking to provide an attacking start against South Africa’s opening bowlers that will help Bangladesh post or chase down the target.

Das has a decent record against South Africa in the ODI format with 176 runs from 9 matches (9 innings) including the best score of 50. He would be eager to showcase his abilities in the first 10 overs on a brilliant batting pitch in Mumbai.

  1. Heinrich Klassen

He upped the ante putting enough pressure on the England bowlers. After completing his half-century, Klassen hammered century and was dismissed for 109. With a poor record against Bangladesh, he would be eager to come up with another brilliant knock that would help South Africa put enough pressure on the Bangladesh bowlers.

  1. Shakib AL Hasan

The Bangladesh captain Shakib AL Hasan would be returning to the squad and would look to lead from the front after missing the previous match against India due to an injury.

He has performed brilliantly with both and ball against SA in the ODI format. The veteran all-rounder scored 492 runs from 17 matches ( 16 innings) with 5 half-centuries including the best score of 77. 1. Kagiso Rabada
