In an IPL 2024 match between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in Jaipur, an amusing incident unfolded involving RR captain Sanju Samson and LSG all-rounder Krunal Pandya. During the sixth over of RR’s innings, with Riyan Parag at the crease alongside Samson, Parag mistimed a shot off Krunal’s delivery, resulting in the ball popping towards the non-striker’s end.
Attempting a caught and bowled, Krunal was denied a wicket as Samson, positioned at the non-striker’s end, stood firm. Despite the missed opportunity, Krunal shared a light-hearted moment with Samson, garnering attention on social media platforms.
Regarding the match, Samson, winning the toss, chose to field first at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. He revealed that Riyan Parag would bat at number four, with Rovman Powell potentially playing as an impact player.
