[Watch] “My Little Soldier” – Krunal Pandya Shares An Inspiring Post With Hardik Pandya’s Son Agastya

On Tuesday, June 20, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) all-rounder Krunal Pandya posted a sweet photo with his nephew, Agastya, the son of his younger brother Hardik Pandya.

In the video, Krunal can be seen showing Agastya how to salute while they were spending time together. Krunal added the following caption to the Instagram post:

“My little soldier.”

Hardik Pandya left a heart emoji in response to the post.

Kavir Krunal Pandya, the couple’s first child, was born in July of the previous year to Krunal and his wife Pankhuri Sharma.

On the professional front, Krunal recently guided LSG to the playoffs while regular captain KL Rahul was out due to injury.

However, they were defeated by the five-time champion Mumbai Indians (MI) by 81 runs in the Eliminator.

With 188 runs and nine wickets in 15 games, the 32-year-old finished the season. The next time we see him playing in domestic cricket will probably be for Baroda.

On the other hand, Hardik Pandya guided Gujarat Titans (GT) to back-to-back IPL finals in 2023.

In the IPL 2023 final, a last-ball thriller saw GT fall to MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by five wickets via DLS method.

In 16 games this season, the all-rounder scored 346 runs and claimed three wickets.

Team India’s captain during the T20I series against the West Indies is likely to be Hardik Pandya.

During India’s tour of the West Indies, Hardik Pandya is likely to captain the team once more in the five-match T20I series.

In earlier this year, the 29-year-old led India to series victories against Sri Lanka and New Zealand at home.

So far, he has guided the Men in Blue to eight victories in 11 contests, with one game ending in a tie.

Curiously, Hardik Pandya has not yet been named as the official captain for T20Is by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Rahul Dravid, the head coach of India, said the following in a press conference earlier this year:

“I’m unaware that India has adopted a split captaincy. I’m not the best man to offer an opinion on it.”

“The selectors would be the best people to ask about it. I don’t, however, believe that such a move will be made anytime soon.”

This occurred at a time when Hardik is captaining the Men in Blue in T20 Internationals.
