[WATCH]- A Fielder Showcases Impressive ‘Footwork’ To Grab A Remarkable Catch In The ECS Bulgaria T10 Match

Kursad Dalyan, a fielder for Afyonkarahisar SHS, made an unconventional catch during the ECS Bulgaria T10 match against VTU-MU Pleven that took place on Saturday, August 3 at the National Sports Academy Vasil Levski in Sofia. The foot of Dalyan who was fielding at mid-on helped the ball bounce into the air and allowed him to complete this unique catch.

Match number 30 in the ECS Bulgaria T10 tournament saw this amazing fielding effort. After winning the toss, Afyonkarahisar SHS batted first and scored 104-5 runs in their 10 overs. Meanwhile VTU-MU Pleven were restricted to 40-8 in their innings.

In the fourth over of VTU-MU Pleven’s pursuit, Anandhu Krishna was captured uniquely by Dalyan, who sent him back to the pavilion for merely one run. Krishna aimed to strike a Faruki delivery on the on side, but failed due to mistiming.

The ball seemed to be going down toward the mid-on fielder’s feet. However, as it happened, Dalyan purposely moved forward and the ball hit his shoe before bouncing straight up in the air easily for any fielder around.

Dalyan’s captivating performance at the pitch made VTU-MU Pleven fall to 14-4, in just 3.3 overs. Eventually, the bowling squad achieved an easy win as VTU-MU Pleven did not resist with a bat.

Key Performers in ECS Bulgaria T10 Match 30

Following the toss win and subsequent batting first decision by Afyonkarahisar SHS, their opener-Romeo Nath smashed an unbelievable 51 runs from just 27 deliveries which included four fours along with six others being delivered over the bar at strike rate of 188.89.

As for Abdullah Lodhi he only had 21 runs in his account made off nine balls but with three being four-run boundaries as well as one additional six. Additionally, Zafer Durmaz and Faruki managed to pick two wickets each.

Meanwhile, Alan Jose scored two wickets for the VTU-MU Pleven team against 19 their players did not make an impact during their innings eyebrows lifting in disbelief after seeing how poor it was; unlike during their last match. Out of all the innings brought out by the captains, none found them fulfilling nor joyous; hence Jassim Rhaeem achieved nine in eight while he faced Alwin Thomas’ twelve runs off eight balls.
